This C.D. has now been heard by millions of harp
fans all over the World. (on the Radio)
It started life out as a "demo"
C.D.. All songs are live recordings of real performances with the top Blues people from around
the Los Angeles area.
The first Radio Station to play this was the
commercial Radio Staton RADIOTOTAL
in Bucarest Romania...The Show ...The Taxi-Blues
show. The D.J. Dan Alexandru.
Next was the Cal Davis show "Mario's Blues Thang" in the U.S.A. ....D.J. Mario Robles...
(Thank You, Thank You, Thank You)
This C.D. is the real deal blues as heard in the real deal Clubs and Venues in Los Angeles. It is raw and
a whole lot of fun.
After completion of this C.D. Big Harmonica Bob
was asked to join "The Barnburners"
That band became...
"The Barnburners with Big Harmonica Bob"
Bob just wanted to blow harp and sing a little with
these guys.....next came the C.D. below
this is "Workin' Overtime"
The Barnburners with Big Harmonica Bob
This also started out as a demo to get us work
at the local clubs and venues.
It features some of the best performances from
live venues all over Los Angeles and Orange County.
This C.D. is also played on Radio Stations around the World.
Big Blues Dog Productions is the name of the
Independent Label that produces these C.D.s.
Big Harmonica Bob and Big Blues Dog Productions
Big Harmonica Bob got the boot from the
Barnburners ... so this is the only C.D. that has
him playing with them. That's Show Biz!
You can still get this C.D. is you like , click on it!
Big Harmonica Bob formed his own band ...
Big Harmonica Bob and The Blues All Stars.
Songs from this C.D. to the left went on to be
played on Blues Radio Programs Worldwide
and then this C.D. grew to a full length C.D
called "Big Harmonica Bob and The Blues All Stars...
Bring You the Blues" it too is played around the
world. e mail me if you would like one.
I would like to thank all the Radio Stations and Blues Radio Program D.J.s for taking the time to listen to us and add our music to their playlists
We are no overnight success. Like so many other blues musicians
we have played the blues for many years... it is very nice to get some recognition for the work we have put into this art form.
Every blues artist brings his own personality and expression to the blues.
"You don't choose the blues...the blues chooses you."
For all of the harp players who have come before me or who are now
playing...thank you for your work and influence. For all the masters who
blew in the past ...and invented the Chicago style amplified harmonica
...Thank You.
There ain't nothin' like the Mississippi Saxophone....nothin'.
(BHB at the Galaxy Theater with a band he blew harp with a while ago)
